An animal paw print with four toe pads. Fits pet food, veterinary products and animal charities. BARKOD clips a real EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A or Code 128 barcode into the paw print outline and leaves the bottom scan zone untouched, so your paw print barcode still reads on any scanner.
The paw print is already selected above. Type your number, pick a color and download the SVG. Free, no login. Not the shape you had in mind? There are 65 more, from skulls to sharks.
Completely free — no login, no email, no watermark and no export limits. BARKOD runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
Pick a format (EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A or Code 128), type your number or text, choose one of the 66 barcode shapes, pick a color, and download the SVG. The file is infinitely scalable and ready for print or digital use. Keep strong contrast between the bars and the background — scanners depend on it, and dark bars on a light background are always the safest choice.
There are 66 barcode shapes: hearts, skulls, sharks, ghosts, guitars, pizza slices, bottles, cats, dumbbells, snowflakes and more. Every shape works with every supported format. Each one clips the barcode bars while keeping the bottom scan zone intact. You pick from the library — uploading your own outline is not supported yet.
Yes. The bottom scan zone is left unmodified, and that band is what scanners actually read. The exported SVG is print-ready and fully scalable, so it holds up at any size. Ink spread, curved packaging and cheap scanners still matter, so print a physical sample and test it before any production run.
For a barcode that scans at retail checkouts, yes — the number has to be registered with GS1, and BARKOD does not issue numbers. For internal tracking, events, art prints, merch or packaging mockups, any valid number works.
EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and Code 128, all exported as scalable SVG. EAN-13 is the 13-digit standard used on retail products worldwide. EAN-8 is its 8-digit short version for small packaging. UPC-A is the 12-digit North American equivalent. Code 128 encodes letters and symbols as well as digits, which suits internal tracking and serial numbers.
Every other barcode generator gives you a rectangle. BARKOD gives you a shape — a custom barcode that still scans.
